ISLAMABAD — President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his warm congratulations to Andy Burnham on assuming office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, expressing hope for strengthened bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
In a statement released Sunday, President Zardari conveyed his optimism that under Prime Minister Burnham’s leadership, Pakistan and the United Kingdom would further deepen their longstanding partnership and expand collaboration across areas of mutual interest.
Call for Peace in the Gulf Region
